If you ran Rental Lock Automater (RLA) from RBoy Apps, you were running it on SmartThings' Groovy platform — the one Samsung retired. Lock Orchestrator does the same core job on what's supported today: read the booking calendar, put a unique code on the door before the guest arrives, take it off when they leave.
The differences worth knowing. There's nothing to install on a hub — you connect SmartThings over OAuth or Hubitat over the Maker API, and locks are discovered for you. Hubitat Elevation is supported, so a hub you moved to after the Groovy shutdown works, and you can mix both platforms on one account. And every code write is verified against the lock afterward, because locks do quietly drop writes and a guest standing at a door with a dead PIN is the failure that actually costs you.

Yes. You paste the iCal export URL from your Airbnb listing and Lock Orchestrator polls it every 15 minutes. No Airbnb API approval or account connection is required. The same works for VRBO, Booking.com, and any platform that exports a calendar.
Yale, Schlage, and Kwikset locks, plus any Z-Wave or Zigbee lock that exposes the standard lock-codes capability through a SmartThings or Hubitat Elevation hub. Lock Orchestrator talks to the hub, not the lock directly — so if your hub can set a code, the lock is supported.
By default the PIN is programmed 60 minutes before check-in and deleted 15 minutes after checkout. Both windows are configurable per property.
It does the same core job — calendar-driven guest lock codes — on platforms that are currently supported. RBoy's Rental Lock Automater ran on the SmartThings Groovy platform, which Samsung retired. Lock Orchestrator runs on the current SmartThings cloud API and also supports Hubitat Elevation, so one account can cover both.
When the reservation disappears from the calendar feed, Lock Orchestrator marks it cancelled and revokes the PIN from the lock immediately, rather than waiting for the original checkout time.
After writing a code, Lock Orchestrator polls the lock to confirm the PIN is really present — locks sometimes silently drop a write. If it didn't take, we retry and email you. The dashboard shows the verified state of every code.
